Once the air, deck and resin temperature have been checked the following ratios can be used as a guideline
Resin Base Coat – Calculations
- 5-10 degC = 4% ratio therefore 1kg will catalyse 25kg
- 11-17 degC = 3% ratio therefore 1kg will catalyse 33kg
- 18-25 degC = 2% ratio therefore 1Kg will catalyse 50kg
- 26-30 degC = 1% ratio therefore 1Kg will catalyse 100kg
Top Coat – Calculations
- 5-17 degC = 3% ratio therefore 1kg will catalyse 33kg
- 18-25 degC = 2% ratio therefore 1Kg will catalyse 50kg
- 26-30 degC = 1% ratio therefore 1Kg will catalyse 100kg
ADD THE CATALYST REQUIRED FOR RESIN TO TOP COAT TO FIND THE TOTAL AMOUNT REQUIRED
n.b. To convert Kg to millilitres for dispensing use ratio of 1Kg = 1170ml
