Your order - courier delivery advice - Check it first - then sign for it

Hi there everyone

We thought we'd just provide a reminder to all potential and current customers to please check their delivery before signing for it if at all possible.

When your order leaves one of our warehouses it is in good condition and as per your request - whilst with the courier it becomes out of RKD control

We understand that courier delivery drivers are meant to keep safe Covid distance, but this doesn't mean they should not give you a short period just to briefly check your order is all there and nothing is damaged.

Theoretically if the courier has damaged something in transit they should not deliver it to you but notify RKD of the problem in order that we can sort out asap.

Frankly on a limited number of occasions this does't happen, which is why it is so important that you undertake a brief inspection - theoretically if you sign for the goods you have accepted them as in good order.

RKD pride ourselves in good service and when an issue arises we will move heaven and earth to resolve. It helps us a great deal if any problems arise with the courier delivery that the customer notes it, or requests the driver to note it on the delivery ticket - for example - order states 5 components only 4 delivered - order damaged and refused, return requested

If you should be so unfortunate as to have an order or any component of an order damaged please don't accept the order or individual component and request a return to RKD from the courier

We would advise that you then contact us straight away in order that we can take action on your behalf to ensure that you receive your order properly.
