Preformed Corner Trims
Preformed corners are designed to provide a quick and easy solution to forming the corners on a fibreglass flat roof.
The traditional methodology used by experienced installers is to mitre the edge trims at the corner and use Bandage to seal any remaining apertures.
Preformed corners therefore assist DIY and less experienced installers with a ready-made solution.
C1 – A universal right angle external corner – As the vast majority of flat roofs are rectangular this trim is the most popular in usage.
C2 – 2 types: Left Hand and Right Hand. Used where an edge trim meets the house wall and a Wall Fillet trim.
C3 – 2 types: Internal and External. Used where the Wall Fillet Trim meets a corner angle (either internal or external) eg where the roof has property walls on two sides or is surrounded by an upstand wall.
C4 – A universal right-angle internal corner.
C5 – Not classically a corner but a closure trim which fits on the end of an expansion trim (E280) and provides a visually appealing finish.
