Trim identifications are standard throughout the industry – eg A200.

A170

A170 (Girth 170mm – Depth 65mm) Primarily used on smaller fibreglass flat roofs such as porches, bays and small dormer flat roofs.

Wall Fillet trims

There are two types of trims in this range. They are fitted when the flat roof adjoins a house wall or upstand/roof lantern.

Trim identifications are standard throughout the industry – eg D260.

D260

D260 –  Base 75mm – Angle 60mm – Vertical 115mm – Upstand height 140mm (height up your wall from the deck).

The D260 Wall Fillet trims are available in the standard 3m length, half size @ 1.5m length and in discounted 5-pack and 10-pack options.

The D260 Wall Fillet trim is utilised with a C100 Flashing Trim or with the client’s own lead flashing.

D300

D300 – Base 75mm – Angle 60mm – Vertical 185mm – Upstand height 225mm (height up your wall from the deck). The D300 accommodates a higher upstand height and is sometimes used when replacing a felt roof which already has lead flashing in situ.

The D300 Wall Fillet trims are available in the standard 3m length and discounted 10-pack option.

The D300 Wall Fillet trim is utilised with a C100 Flashing Trim or with the client’s own lead flashing.

Flashing Trims

There are two types of Flashing Trim – one simulates lead flashing and is used to overlap a Wall Fillet trim via a groove in the house or upstand wall. The second is a flat Flashing Trim, used when a flat roof adjoins a sloping tiled roof.

Trim identifications are standard throughout the industry – eg C100.

C100

C100 – 100mm in Depth with 30mm lipped insert top edge which fits into the groove in a wall – this is installed using a sealant.

The C100 Flashing Trims are available in the standard 3m length, half size @ 1.5m length and in discounted 5-pack and 10-pack options.

The C100 Flashing Trim is used with the D260/D300 Wall Fillet trim.

F300 and F900 Flat Flashing

F300 is a flat GRP trim 300mm in width and is most often used where a flat roof meets an adjacent tiled roof. It is run up under the tiles and sarking and nailed to the flat roof deck

F900 is the same but 900mm in width and is used where the F300 is not wide enough to give sufficient insert under tiles.

Both F300 and F900 flat flashings are sold by the metre.

Preformed Corner Trims

Preformed corners are designed to provide a quick and easy solution to forming the corners on a fibreglass flat roof.

The traditional methodology used by experienced installers is to mitre the edge trims at the corner and use Bandage to seal any remaining apertures.

Preformed corners therefore assist DIY and less experienced installers with a ready-made solution.

C1 – A universal right angle external corner – As the vast majority of flat roofs are rectangular this trim is the most popular in usage.
C2 – 2 types: Left Hand and Right Hand. Used where an edge trim meets the house wall and a Wall Fillet trim.
C3 – 2 types: Internal and External. Used where the Wall Fillet Trim meets a corner angle (either internal or external) eg where the roof has property walls on two sides or is surrounded by an upstand wall.
C4 – A universal right-angle internal corner.
C5 – Not classically a corner but a closure trim which fits on the end of an expansion trim (E280) and provides a visually appealing finish.

Right Angle, Expansion, Drainage and Outlet trims

AT195 Right Angle

The AT195 right angle trim comes in two types – Internal and external –  3m length – 70mm x 100mm .

The AT195 GRP Roofing Right Angle trims are used when forming and strengthening right angle corners on features such as steps, walls and upstands (inc roof lanterns), they can be used horizontally or vertically.

The AT195 trims (both external and internal) are available in the standard 3m length, half size @ 1.5m length and in discounted 5-pack and 10-pack options.

E280 Expansion

E280 –  200mm width – 50mm height – Flanges 90mm.

The preferred trim for creating an expansion joint in a fibreglass roof. Also used as a decorative trim for Faux metal roof visuals and on the ridge of a pitched GRP roof.

This trim is utilised when your fibreglass roof exceeds 45m2, to aid expansion in higher temperatures. It is installed over a gap in the board decking.

Available in the standard 3m length and half size @ 1.5m lengths.

G180 Drainage Trim

G180 – Girth 180mm – Flanges 30mm – Depth 15mm (Trough width 80mm)
